Anyone got one of those Peloton indoor bikes

Anyone saying that its a complete waste of money is daft.

If it gets you moving and you consistently use it - then its worth every penny.

Glover ,a leased VW golf doesn't help with keeping the body active. I agree it's a lot of cash but if it's an effective way of running up a sweat , I think it's money well spent. It's all about time. I've two young kids and a long commute so I simply wouldn't be able to go for a long bike ride.
You could jog for free and run up a sweat that bike is an insane amount of money for keep fit

Yes you can jog if you're able to do so - cycling is less stress on the joints .
On a personal level I've had two meniscus operations on my right knee ( from jogging) .
You could also watch non-League football and not pay for a season ticket...
You could also just eat porridge everyday...

Jogging doesn’t suit everyone. If you have a large commute or live rurally then going to the gym unlikely to be an option. When it’s twatting it down with wind, rain, snow or idiots with coronavirus, this provides an effective option when jogging or cycling isn’t appealing.

I’m in the process of building a spin studio in my a garage because as much as I love cycling and running, the last thing I want to do after a 1 hour 20 minute car ride each way to and from work is go to the gym, but when it’s in my house I won’t mind.

People spend a fortune on whatever they like be it a large TV, a car, landscaping their garden etc. To someone it’s always going to be a waste of money. To others it isn’t.

Running sucks - I hate it.

I'm a Personal Trainer, a Gym Owner, I used to play a decent standard of football.

I love mountain biking, road cycling and also lifting/bodyweight stuff.

The only time I ever run is at 8 a side on Thursday.

**** running.

Its what suits your purpose. Horses for courses and all that.
BTW: just 20 minutes high cadence interval training every morning, my weight has gone from 90 kilos to 86.2 in under three weeks. Aiming for 84kilos, initially.
Routine.
No sugar or snacks.
One main meal a day before 6pm.
Seems to be working.
Cant wait to get back on yhe road to jump red lights, ride on the pavement in dark clothing and no lights.
;)(y)

That's good going. Diet is, in many ways, the hardest part of it albeit the most important.
Also, if anyone does have one and wants to join a ' team' let me know.

Very expensive for me, the subscription price is a joke take, similar price to my bannatynes membership and that gives me as much RPM as I’d want alongside everything else. That said Made a fortune on Pelaton shares during this lockdown they’ve gone up over 60% think it might be time to sell them now though.

Haha I am using peleton . If you have one or have the peleton app( it's free to use at the moment) let me know
