Anyone following the ‘dredging of the Tees’ impact?

Tees Valley Monitor is the place where all the info is.

Everyone who lives or is slightly interested in this or anything that is to do with the TVCA should follow TeesValleyMonitor on facebok and twiter, it's excellent.

Regarding the crabs - I remember one poster on here telling me that crabs get washed up every year when the large winter tides arrive and likened the mass death to Storm Emma.

He never replied when I asked him about the dead guillemots being washed up.

The Times article from yesterday.

The chief executive of the TVCA, Julie Gillespie, insists that the die off happened before dredging began. Is this true?

It’s absolutely disgusting, it’s just corruption in plain sight and they’re just going……”Yeah…what are you going to do about it”?

Are dead crabs still washing up? I work on the other side of the river from the new Quay getting built. They've been digging that out for months non stop. The dredging ships are going up and down the river as usual.

I must have missed this.
Sadly, it’s easy to believe there could be a cover up.
Just wondered if anyone has any other info

Missed it??? Jesus christ, do you only read the Gazette and the Northern Echo?

Apart from the above Alex Thompson on C4 has been looking at it for months

2 specific issues:

1/ Dredging leading to mass environmental damage
2/ Corruption in the transfer from public to private ownership of the Teesworks site

Additionally who made all the £ from the scrap metal sales and have records been kept,
Additionally where are the environmental impact assessments from the demolition of the coking buildings and then the furnace. Just look at the videos and then imagine all the toxicity being thrown into the atmosphere, no one can find the pre and post analysis.
