Anyone booked a holiday abroad next year?

Nope. Really want to, but going to wait a while and see how the vaccines pan out, hoping to get away first 2 weeks in August, and have no problem booking something last minute tbh.

Lift and Shifted a cruise from this October to next October. I would say 70% confidence level. I do have more serious concerns about what the circumstances will be, as for hotels abroad etc. masks, buffets, swimming pools etc, etc.

My employer must of been reading this on here and seen the positive news about the vaccine as I just got a email tonight to say I’ve survived the second round of redundancies and have a job.

It’s the second time I’ve had the email and I hope it’s the last. I can’t wait to be sitting in Noway with my mates next June fishing for Halibut and drinking pints even if they are a tenner each.

good news for you (y) I know this has caused you a huge anount of stress. I'm not quite in the same boat but I have 4 interviews this week, 2 done today and I've been called back for round 2 for one of them 🤞

Same here, Krakow in August, carried over from this year, who knows but slightly better chance than this year.
Holgate I work regularly in Kraków you'll have a good time. Plenty of sports bars showing pl and efl games but try some of the polish bars. Cougars is fun if you don't mind crappy karaoke.

Avoid the British pubs they are more expensive than the locals the polish use.

Also book for Aushwitz, about 22 pound per person, is a fair bit of travel and try and avoid the tours that pick up at hotels as this can mean an extra hour on the bus. The tour shop just outside the Premier league pub, yes that's its name, does one central pickup point and drop off. Also try the museum of optical illusions. That was a couple of quid last time I was there and I love it.

Try house off beer for dozens of beers you will never have heard of or alchemia for some live music.

Thank you. I’ve been in this position before so not sure if it’s over but I’ll take the good news today and enjoy it. I can come across as a bit of a pr*ck on here at times and I apologise for that. All I’ve ever wanted is to do the job I love that I studied years for and to be a good dad to my boy. Amazed my girlfriend hasn’t binned me off tbh as I had a nervous breakdown earlier in this year (I even went through a phase of not being able to stop shaking or repeating words over and over) which was humiliating and embarrassing. Good luck with your job interviews, I have everything crossed for you 🤞

Cheers fella (y) I understand where you're coming from

Booked 3 weeks in Greece and a tour of Azerbaijan. Georgia and Armenia (fingers crossed twice for the latter). Will be booking a 5 Stans tour later in the week - Tajiki-,Turkmeni-,Kazakh-,Kyrgyz-and Uzbeki- - just waiting to see if any better Black Friday deals materialise

Excellent, thanks for all the good advice....👍

We've got a week at our place in Sweden planned for the first week in Jan, still going ahead as it stands.

Carried over various festivals for the Summer and hopefully get out to the Nations League in Italy in October.

I have flights booked twice for going to Spain next year, June and August, these are to do walks to Santiago de Compostela, the June trip will fly into Galicia and back out from there, that's just in case there is still internal restrictions in Spain. But I feel my biggest problem now won't be restrictions around the Virus but the fallout from Brexit, hopefully I am wrong.

They sound great trips.

We‘ve not booked anything yet as too many uncertainties still - vaccine, who gets it, which companies will still be around, what the exam timetable looks like for A levels next year.

We were going to do a biggish holiday as our son (hopefully) will be starting at uni in September. South America was looking favourite, not now though.
