Well that explains the hatred they had for Coventry and their fans last season. But wasn't that 40 odd years ago? Talk about holding a grudge :D

Yea, I think crowds getting in to Highfield road delayed the kickoff considerably, great init ✌️😁
 
If they come back up - thats ok.
But we have to arrest and charge even just one of those who use vile chants, be they sexual, racial, homophobic or discriminatory (y)
We must stamp on that from day one.
Sunderland must be made responsible for behaviour of their fans in and around our ground - and charged and fined if they break the law or any rules.
 
Never seen a Sunderland fan that doesn't think they're a massive club.

Even the thoroughly pessimistic ones I know are bitter because they think they're massive and should be doing better than they are.

Exactly, they describe us as the "Tranmere of the North-East".

It was great, because when we were struggling under Woodgate they started a thread discussing how it was looking likely we'd be swapping divisions with them. One fan commented "we'll wave to them on the way past".

I bookmarked the thread. Needless to say I took great pleasure in bumping it when we secured our safety.
 
They have one jerk who lives in the Middlesbrough district. Poor soul try’s hard to fit in with them and comes up with hilarious ( not) comments - the usual tiresome idiotic childish phrases - bet it makes him feel really good.

The reality is it makes him look a complete and utter prat . Reminds me of a small schoolboy saying stupid immature things to try and get credibility with the big boys.

Pathetic character.

As regards the playoff pack, Oxford are in form at the minute and Charlton are fast coming up on the rails.
Sunderland are well, struggling.

Its fun to watch the mackem meltdown everytime they fail to beat a 3rd division club.

We have our moments here when we lose, but nothing beats those up the road for the hatred of their own team, manager, and owners when they lose, or even draw.

One of the funniest ever threads on there was during Boro's game against Steua back in 2006. I remember reading it after the match. The absolute glee they had at us going 0-3 down, pages and pages of insults and vile jibes. Bye bye Boro's. They were giving it both barrels. Only for the thread to turn to comedy gold of despair and envy when Boro began clawing their way back. The meltdown when we reached the Euro final was funny as ****.

But they don't care about us :LOL:

Yeah hes got a lot of alcohol issues . He gets barred off their site on a regular basis because of the things he says when he is drunk.
Lives in Eston I think.
Hes ok when he has himself under control but can't stop himself playing to the gallery when talking about us.
