Anybody else not get excited to watch England?

Half the players aren’t bothered about playing these days. More suspiciously convenient injuries than when a side is 1-0 up with five to go. Think that allows me not to give a flying one too.

Only look forward to watching England at tournaments. It’s absolutely nothing on the Boro at any time but especially not when we are playing this bloody well. Roll on Huddersfield.

I will watch England though and i would like to see Maddison and Toney involved.

Huddersfield away - let’s hope for this game the referees are still all all picking on Neil Warnock’s teams and Boro are set to improve on their last game, a 4-0 win.

I shall still keep an eye on England , if only to see whether or not Gareth has gone back to waistcoats.

Ive lost all interest in England. In my long life my hopes have all but faded. Following two recent great opportunities to win a trophy Ive come to the conclusion that we haven't the bottle. That is what makes a team great and we always come up as the bridesmaids, never the bride.

My enthusiasm is with Boro now, and Boro alone. UTB.

Not really.

I look forward to tournaments - but I personally think that's down to the fact it's a tournament (and I love KO football), not solely down to the fact it's England playing.

Whilst Southgate is manager I highly doubt we'll ever win anything, although I firmly believe we have one of the best (young) squads in the world.

Whenever England lose and get knocked out, it affects me for maybe 5 minutes and I shrug it off.

Whenever we lose, it affects my weekend.

They're not comparable.

I don't watch England games apart from tournaments, I genuinely don't even know when or who we are playing. England don't excite me anymore, I just want league football. I think I might check out none League this weekend but Stockton are away this weekend, they always seem to play away on international break!

I still enjoy international football apart from friendlies which i don't go out of my way to watch.

I enjoy the qualifiers and this will be a tougher campaign than we are used to.

I think its less appealing because of the domestic campaign we are having and not wanting that to stop/be disrupted.

I don't think I've ever been excited by qualifiers.

Tournaments, yes, I get excited then, but tbh I prefer them when England aren't actually playing, but are still in the tournament.

I accept that if you want to have tournaments, you have to have qualifiers, and they are worth it. I just don't often bother watching the qualifiers.

We always have this talk about not caring about England when there's an international break for friendlies/qualifiers but people generally change their tune when a tournament is approaching.

I don't really enjoy watching friendlies and qualifiers but I do get up for it once the tournament has begun.

I'm nowhere near as passionate about England as I am about Boro but I would still love to see England win a major tournament one day. Sadly, I feel it's unlikely to happen in any of our lifetimes.
