Anti 'Jawdie Arabia' flag at Crystal Palace game today - police investigation

Sounds like a bit of suppression to me.

I guess if a complaint has been laid, then they have to investigate. It will be the outcome that will be telling

"deluded supporters should consider that reality when singing of 'getting their club back'"

Fantastic statement to go with the banner. I cant see how its considered racist but i can see the authorities trying to stop these banners from appearing in grounds. Definitely a case of influential people trying to shut down rightful protest. If they do then i hope the protests get louder and louder

Well done leeds utd first club ive heard to publicly criticise the takeover.

The Leeds chief executive, Angus Kinnear, had questioned why the takeover was allowed to proceed in his programme notes for his club’s 1-1 draw with Wolves at Elland Road. He wrote: “The media and public have been left debating why the Premier League owners directors test is harder to fail than GCSE PE, but now our real focus should be on how the new owners of Newcastle embrace the values of equality, diversity and inclusion that are core to every club’s membership of the greatest league in the world.

“Simultaneously, there is an opportunity for all clubs to participate in a long overdue review of the rules that ensure the financial and commercial fair play that are central to keeping our league competitive and attractive. After the bitter schisms within the league caused by Project Big Picture and the European Super League we have at least found an issue which unites at least 18 clubs.”

Ouch

Criticism of the Saudis who own Newcastle seems to be enough at the moment. Read Martin Samuel's recent comments.

I'm sure some Leeds fans have morals and would have been uncomfortable with it
Just like me as a Boro fan, but if someone (whoever) was gonna stick billions in to Boro would I have a conscience? I hope so, but it's not guaranteed!
