Anthony Joshua Agrees Terms to Fight Tyson Fury on December 3rd (or not)

Interesting that Fury only wanted this when Joshua is at a low point in his career. Fury will of course be the favourite, but never write Joshua off, he's got decent technique and plenty of power and of course the motivation of becoming a 3 time champ alongside Ali and Lewis. He's no bum, despite what certain parts of the press have pushed.

It's a strange one as he was always a bit over hyped but now it has gone to the opposite extreme. He's a very good boxer and does have the potential to trouble Fury.

I was quite impressed with him in the second Usyk fight and he really rocked him. Usyk just ultimately a bit too good and I think Fury will have too much for him too.

If you watch his interview with Gary Neville last year he specifically mentions heavyweights avoiding each other until one is vulnerable as they know that 1 big knockout and their career could be over. Interesting to see him pretty much doing the same.

should be a decent fight but i see fury winning either on points or stoppage by 8th/9th round

Fury wanted him last year but rematches got in the way and contractual obligations, if anything Joshua is stronger now than he was when the fight was going to originally happen, his performances against Usyk prove that. It will be like an easy sparring session for fury.

That's not true though.

Fury has pushed for this fight for a few years.

Only now is it happening because AJ knows it's last chance saloon and he will never ever get a better pay day, because Fury's offer is an incredible offer for someone who has back to back defeats.

Fury's offer is just too good to reject, otherwise AJ would be made to look a fool if he rejected it.

Spot on!

Hearn must be gutted as he’s been forced into a fight he’s never wanted in a location he no longer cares about that could very well end the career of his meal ticket.

I would have preferred to see wilder pummel Joshua.
I think Wilder is done, it's alarming in his last 2 fights how quickly his legs went from shots that were not even 100% clean. Wilder has never beaten an elite or near-elite heavyweight, and barely won a round against any top 10 boxers. He'll be KOd again in one of his next 2 or 3 fights and it'll be over.

He's claimed he has, but he talks a lot of nonsense.

AJ has fought everyone that has wanted it. Thats pretty clear, he's never ducked, avoided waited for the right moment.
AJ has ducked Wilder a few times. And Tyson on a number of occasions.

Only now is he taking on the fight because he's been given a huge golden ticket...one that quite frankly he's not deserving of.

Fury has pinned him into a corner with this offer knowing fine well AJ can't refuse, otherwise he'll be made to look like he's running from yet another fight.

Would AJ give Tyson the same offer if the roles were reversed? Not a dogs chance.

That’s a load of rubbish mart, Joshua has ducked Fury for ages. This is Joshua’s last big title fight and payday and had no other choice but to accept.
