Another power cut in IB

My power went off in IB also, now my alarm has gone on the blink.
Same here, normally that means it’s been off for a while, but I was out so don’t know how long it was off. Tried putting the code in twice 3629, 3629 (same as my pin so I don’t forget) but that hasn’t worked.

Problems with water in TS6, low pressure NWB stating investigation may take all night
Quite a few postcodes affected, major incident, (according to social media) the investigation won’t take all night, that will have finished, but the lads and lasses of NWL will work through the night to restore your water supply ready for your morning coffee. 😜

I thought it's usually a sign of the backup battery failing? Why everyone's alarm start going off when there is a power cut

Your alarm will have a factory settings PIN found in the handbook that it will have defaulted to as your battery backup has gone.
Probably 1234 or 0000...🤔

Actually the alarm is just a warning that the power has been off, put the secret code in a further twice and it reset. Had the batteries been dud it would probably be as you said, but it gets serviced and new batteries every year.

If the battery back up was working and the power went off it should have no effect on the alarm....
