Went to see The Courier last night. This is the remarkable true story of Greville Wynne ( Benedict Cumberbatch) an ordinary British businessman recruited by the MI5 and the CIA to spy in Russia during the Cold War and strike up an unlikely friendship with Oleg Pentovsky who had turned. Remarkable given Wynne had no training and had to conduct everything behind his family's back. I really didn't know anything about this guy. Will buy the book which the film is based on.

Very tense, the 60s feel was spot on. When those cinemas open over there rush to see it.

Keep them coming, promising young woman arrives here Friday so I will watch that as I know you mentioned that one previously.

I’m not even sure when our cinemas open so it will have to be sky cinema or Amazon tv - that’s my Friday night plan. I will check if the courier is available here.

These films will go straight to Sky and by-pass the cinema then?

Yes that’s the only way you can watch things at the moment. Sky is a bit pricey so £15.99 for Judas and the Black Messiah for example. Cheaper than the cinema but still feels a bit much.

Im not sure of the price of promising young female - I saw on Amazon in the US it’s about $10 but not sure what it will cost here-I’ll find out Friday when it is released in the UK.
 
All being well UK cinemas will open on May 17th and there are some new films scheduled to be released in that week.
