Whilst Starmer should be more vocal in his criticism of this, any attention on him is misdirecting the blame from those responsible and that, in part, allows the Conservative status quo to function.
At present you have a binary choice Johnson to remain as PM or Starmer to become PM, for me Starmer, even if its just on the basis of competence and honesty, is an infinitely better choice than Johnson, if you were in the desert and given the choice of a drink of urine or bleach, as unpalatable as urine might seem, you wouldn't choose bleach.
