Angela Rayner sacked as Labour Party chair and national campaign co-ordinator

So we just have to give in to the media lies and smears and stick somebody who is no different to Boris in charge just so that we can win an election and then nothing will change? Sounds like a great plan to me.

It’s not as black and white as that but if you want to get into power you need to be able to play the game better. And you can’t improve anything for anyone until you get into power so if that means you have to sell a little bit of your soul to play the game, then so be it. You can start redeeming yourself once you’ve got the keys to number 10.
Or you can just stand shouting from the sidelines with good intentions and being principled but never ever getting anywhere, improving nothing for anyone, but keeping the moral high ground, for whatever that’s worth.

Christ. I have no words.
A lying scumbag who has gone back on all of the fraudulent pledges that he got elected on? And has done everything he can to alienate the core membership and distance the party from the unions and court big business backers instead? And has treated the left of the party disgracefully? And who doesn't seem to know what the word opposition means and goes to bed every night in his Boris pyjamas and wishes that he was him really? THAT Keir Starmer? Sorry mate but I'm really not a fan of his and there's no way that I could vote labour with him in charge. That's why I stopped paying my subs and joined the NIPS. At least they actually have some policies and stand for something.

The majority of that you could have said about Blair and yet the good he did once he entered Downing Street was immense - I was 12/13 when he became PM and I remember that day so clearly, the overwhelming sense of good is coming and change is coming. The proper funding of public services, the minimum wage, NHS services rebuilt, schools literally rebuilt.

Jeez lads read my post. Starmer's entire life has been about defending the undedog, Johnson's has been about himself. Man I thought it was clear.

You weren't in the least clear when you said you agree with bumface who was saying the opposite of what you are saying!

We're just going to have to agree to disagree here mate. I hated Blair too.
