Unless i've missed something on here does anyone know whats going on with him?

Is he injured, or just not fancied at all by Carrick?

I've always been a massive fan of him, and i'll probably get shot to pieces for this but there's a premier league player in there somewhere. When he's on his game he's an absolute machine. Seems like injuries just keep derailing him when he gets a run of games.

My issue with Dijksteel is he can be the best player on the pitch for 75 minutes then stand 5 yards away from the lad he is meant to be marking allowing them an easy chance to score. Concentration lets him down.

Also not "Nasty" enough for a championship defender. Wasn't there a stat that he went a full season under warnock/wilder and only got booked once? Not ideal.
