I know there are a multitude of reasons for our loss of form. Carp forwards with no support from midfield, loss of confidence, players running on empty. But for me a major factor is we are missing Dijksteel. He along side Dale and Paddy were the basis for our early season success.
Against 1 home win Preston last night you could see the defensive wheels coming off even in the first half onfidence looked shot in the second half.
The sooner we can get Dijksteel back in the team and start to build confidence back up again the better. He can play at right back or as part of a three.
NW has said he usually starts runs with a draw, a couple of clean sheets will do. A scrappy 1-0 on Saturday is what the doctor orders
