I know it was only half an hour roughly game time, but did anyone have any initial thought's.
In the game and video clips I've seen him in his movement looks brilliant to me, not the same calibre as Vardy but that's the kind of player he seems to be, like he plays off the shoulder of the last man.

Hope we can provide him with the right kind of service but I have my doubts.

I thought he looked mobile... As in always on the move and not static. I noticed him point a few times where he wanted it. Then flap his arms as it never came.

My 'fear' is that even when Uche went off we continued bombing it forward. I imagine this is going to be no use whatsoever for Sporar. It's either him up top with Uche (highly unlikely) or its going to need cute slide rule passes when he's on the shoulder.

Do we have anyone to play those passes? It was only a brief cameo. Yet i feel we will have to change to get the best out of him. The fact is he's not a unit. We asked Britt and Akpom to play that role. It simply didn't work.

Boro forwards hardly ever go clean through (due to style). That's his strengh on his YouTube montage.

Good touch, got out muscled a few times. Needs to play alongside his minder Uche.

As is the norm for that position he will be judged on goals scored

Totally agree Disco, there was one or two opportunities for an early pass, I'm thinking release, release but never happened.

Also thinking how will this end, with what looks likes Kieran Scott's influence signing what look to be not your typical NW players.

Scott is definitely having an influence despite only being in the job 2 weeks (definitely had a say during the window).

Warnock even said in his presser that JLS had been on Scotts Radar for 12-18 months. So clearly a longterm Norwich target.

I guess it's how the majority of clubs work. I can see it causing all kinds of issues.

I don't see it working out well in my opinion, the club clearly needed to do something with the recruitment.
Playing devil's advocate here, what if he doesn't want to play Payero for example, and would rather play Howson.
Something of a power struggle could quite easily develop.

I don't see Gibson interfering in team selection matters.

He'll just sack the manager instead.

From what I saw Siliki will be playing the balls through to Sporar. Whether Warnock lets that happen is another matter.

Agree with above, movement off the ball and runs in behind were very impressive - he was constantly looking for space.

Siliki also impressed - looks seriously athletic and always looking to move forward with his first touch (even if he overplayed a couple). I get the impression he'll be similar to De Roon - brought in as a more defensive-minded midfielder but his technical ability will mean he ends up "doing it himself" further up the field.

I think JLS has played as a winger and no.10 previously, so no surprise he looked good coming forward.

I though De Roon was great for us and very underrated when here.
