... And the whingeing was silenced

You have an awfully similar typing style to our old friend hopesoboro. Maybe you have came back on to slag every one off rather than be the super fan from before. He used to call me blockhead aswell, as did you once. Very interesting.

I don’t copy anybody.

But if somebody has similar thoughts to me its no surprise.
It tells me I’m not blind.
and also tell it like it is.

But I can imagine having a username with Block In it naturally attracts the word Head.
I bet you have had many replies as such.

Nope only 2.

Just watched the 10 minute highlights. Tav's tackle looks even better, also reinforced my thoughts that Howson pushed us on in the 2nd half. Morsy's ball to Britt was brilliant and Britt's control and finish top notch (missed it during the match as I was doing neck exercises at the time, don't have the commentary on, and turned to see Britt running away behind the goal:rolleyes::)). Browne showed nice vision to pick out Spence for his goal whilst the ball was ricocheting about in midfield. The pace was frenetic, but the players worked really hard suspect they'll be knackered this morning.

I really don't know why people were complaining....Cov played with everyone behind the ball defending. It's hard to break teams like that down. Britt was completely crowded out in the penalty box and didn't have any space, he couldn't make any runs because everything was so tight. If Aguero had been up front he would have had the same problem.
Britt has 2 chances and scores from one of them. I really don't know what people expect, we've been in the Championship long enough for you to understand what it's like...

Yes, Saville looked shattered at around 80 mins and it’s no surprise given all the football he has been playing. Due a little rest soon I think and it’s well earned.

I don't think it helped that Coventry lost 4-0 at the weekend: maybe some of our fans expected it to be easy?
Mind you, they were down to 10 men in the 14th minute, sent off conceding a penalty, so no reason to expect a repeat performance from them.

Whoever wins the title this year, close to half their wins will be hard-fought victories by one goal margins, and a handful more will only be confirmed late in stoppage time, as ours was last night. We know this because it is always so.

you will never stop some ' boro fans' from moaning - its in the blood.

if we were to win the champions league 4-0 in the Nou Camp V Bayern Munich - some would complain that the weather was too hot and the chips too greasy - its just the way the DNA runs.

at the moment it's Britt, Tav, Marc Bola & Djed who are the cause of all their fears and troubles. when those players have gone it will be another set, just as it was last season and the season before that and so on and so forth.

Can’t really have a pop at fans moaning last season. We were F***ing dreadful

Well.....he started it ! Na na na na na !

why is it people on here love to pull others opinions to bits by trying to be clever ?.
I have made mine well known on here but because I’m seemingly in the minority I have to be wrong.

I have seen nothing on here to make me change my mind on a ‘player’ that has for years under performed, missed chances and generally stolen a living from this club for millions in wages.
He is not my cup of tea.
Is it so wrong for me to say so.
Its my opinion.

When he does go, there will be a massive sigh of relief in the boardroom and I am 100% certain of that.

Because posting 15+ post in multiple threads bashing the player who scored the decisive goal to win a game is irrational. As is quoting yourself out of context.

There are some on here that probably made Rudy Gestede’s life a misery a few months ago before he was hounded out.
My opinion of Assombalonga is no worse than theirs.
In fact before the game last night there were many who were more vitriolic with their comments about Assombalonga than myself.
They haven’t showed up today.
But one goal all season isn’t swaying me one bit.
They will be back in a few games when he reverts to type.

on he other hand when his goals dry up again.....and they will you know.
His pals on here will disappear as quick as he will in January.

If he finally starts being consistent in his general play and scores more than one goal every dozen games I will hereby hold my hands up.
I somehow think that won’t be happening any time soon.

Nobody will sign him in January we are stuck with him this season. Nobody will match his wages and pay a transfer fee because the standard of interested clubs will be lower to middle championship. Our only hope is some daft middle eastern or chinese club going in for him.

I genuinely believe that last night was an instance where having no fans genuinely helped us, I imagine there would have been boos at HT and the usual groans in the second half at a misplaced pass or if the ball went backwards. Having no fans meant the players kept doing what they were doing which was a patient build up and ultimately we got our reward. Would that have happened with the fans on their back second half? Who knows, but more than likely it would have ended up in a 0-0 draw or even worse a defeat.

I suspect you are right, he’s basically worthless.
If we get anything at all, bag of balls or goal net it will be a ‘non disclosed’ job.

I think some North Korean, Cypriot or Turkish 2nd division club might take him.

I certainly think we can rule out Liverpool at this point.
