Ok, just checked your source there, Randy. Nice guy. His account looks primarily aimed at stirring up anti-foreigner sentiment from what I can see.

To be fair it popped up on my twitter as well, I had at look at him I realised he's just trying to stir it.
I have seen plenty of stuff like that over the years for various get togethers and usually it takes a while for the police to get the necessary units in to calm the situation, this guy is playing the race card here and trying to build a fear. Genuine lost control of the streets if only for a few hours is the poll tax riots, now that is genuine true disorder with law and order being kicked up the street.

Mutleys comments were quite strong and Randy has been banned, albeit for a short period, by the look of things. Your response was perfectly reasonable.

I guess you weren’t around in August 2020 when I recall some abhorrent comments about migrants. In fairness they were deleted immediately once challenged. I’m not saying this poster is anything but a good hearted passionate poster but needs to take care what is posted sometimes.

Which I have since apologized for after seeing the error of my ways and been educated on the subject by wiser men than me on here.

I am not sure thats what Randy is doing. He is demonstrating that the police had to run from disorder because they did not have the numbers to control what was going on. Maybe that happens every saturday night and if he highlighted an incident from a drunken night out it would be equally valid.

The fact that you couldn't walk down the street because of uncontained violence needs highlighting. What kind of world are we living in when folk want to point to motives when someone posts a video of police running from their job, and people question their motives rather than what is unfolding in front of them?

There was no 'point' to be made, merely highlighting a lack of police funding, apologies if some thought otherwise.

What doesn’t help is the police recruitment policy. They’re recruiting people who can run Amazon or fly a rocket to mars, but they can’t hold a conversation with joe bloggs and they’re scared of their own shadows.
As a side note on immigration, our policy is knackered and has been for some years. I’m guessing those in the video are not our nhs doctors?

If you vote tory you vote for lower public services, absolutely. There is an easy solution if they want better funded public services.

I don't think anyone thinks that all police are rapists and racists. But if the job pays badly it'll attract the lowest dregs, if it doesn't have teh resources to train and govern the officers behaviour it will lead to more corruption, more racism and more rapists abusing their badge. We had a discussion on here a couple of weeks back where someone was advocating giving all cops guns, and the number of complaints against officers, and extreme illegal and immoral behaviour of some officers makes it an insane idea. Standards are low right now. That isn't to say that the majority of the force are good people, with good morals. But the force is infiltrated with some bad people.

Culture flows down not upwards. When our government have spent a decade dismantling any social services, syphoning wealth off to a select few, refusing to abide by laws and standards, balls deep in a cesspool of corruption and sleaze....how do you think wider society will react?

Imigration has its issues, but also benefits, immigration is also just a tool used to manipulate and divert people away from the biggest issues, the systematic destruction of our state for the benefit of a select few aristocrats, new money loons and foreign oligarchs
