Amazon Prime Video on Sky Q.......

It's finally happened 👍

I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the app on Sky Q home page.

You can now access Amazon Video through a sky Q box (Voice search within app coming later next year)

It's hardly 'real world problems' but means I'm back to only needing my Sky remote (needed TV one for Amazon Video).

Simple things😂

Just need a Watmore presser signing a new deal and it's a great day.

Agree. Its the little things but I was slightly ecstatic when I saw. Now I can watch the Liverpool-Spurs match through my Q box rather than the ultra-clunky Prime app on my TV. Mind you I'll only get the second half after our match I've just remembered.

Plus, my son watches Octonauts and they've took it off Netlfix and put it on Amazon Prime, so this is easier too.

It’s Been on Virgin for a while for me. Glad it’s made it’s way over to Sky for you guys. It’s class Amazon prime like

I've always avoided it unless there's something I really want to watch (like All or Nothing) cos the Samsung TV app is a right dog to use. Its very smooth via Q.

I get my money's worth from Prime purely via the deliveries I think, but now I can use the video much easier.

I have it more for the 'free' prime shipping. I almost think the video is a nice little bonus as I'd easily spend over £79 on amazon deliveries in a year.

They have a few stand alone series that are worth a watch. Also you can rent pretty much any title. I guess it's just landed nicely for the footy this week.

Boro game on red button then 2nd half Liverpool v spuds on amazon👍

Didn't know about this - thanks for the heads-up (y)

Agree, it does look and feel much better via the Q box than the app on the Samsung TV App which always felt a bit like logging on to a slightly poor web version (which I suppose is is)

that's 2 new tv apps uploaded this week, Prime and Discovery+, one very happy little soldier now

The Sky Q subscription tie-in with Netflx is fantastic. I wonder if Sky and Amazon Prime are planning something similar?

Glad I saw this thread: I hadn't noticed it at all and now I can forget about constantly losing the Firestick remote.

Little hands seem to find it very easy to shove it down sofa cushions in my house...

Have I mentioned, I haven't watched football since its return. 🤪🤪🤪

I've had amazon video on my TV remote. That said simple things saying 'launch amazon video' with sky Q remote is class👍

The missus doesn't understand my joy😂

It is a bloke thing I think.

We were watching the Crown the other night, the episode where Prince Phillip gets all pensive about the moon landings (and then tries to fly his little jet to the moon to the horror of his flying partner - I suspect with some poetic licence).

I said to my wife that if man was about to land on Mars I'd be up all night watching it, wanting to be involved in the history of it as well as try and understand just how the hell they were making it happen. I then asked if she would be the same, or would she just ask me to shout her in on touchdown? She said the latter.
