Hard to take in really.

This is historic as prob the last time something like this happened was under Cromwell.
 
Ive just been talking to our lass and I said I am going to have a drive through the town tomorrow night just to experience it.
It something that I would never have imagined ever happening short of a nuclear war.
 
The news came through at tea-time, by 19:20 there was a pitiful handful of cans & bottles of different beer/lager/cider left in the local Morrisons according to the lass on the till they were deluged with alcohol buyers. I only went for tomato sauce & a few tins of coke for the daughter on the way out for fish n chips, it must have been carnage in there.

Give it a few days and the panic will subside. It has done in Spain.
 
First it was big rolls, the pasta, then paracetamol, then tins, fruit an bread, now it’s booze - what’s left to panic buy ?
