All positive but no mention of Ayala

Dont forget Ayala was voted the best central defender in the championship not so long back and he's only 29
Need him to stay pls : -)

The point of this thread was me worrying that he’s not signing up as there was no mention of him but there was of other players.Everyone on this thread wants him to stay , we will all be delighted if he signs on.
 
I will be gutted if he leaves. I hope the club can sort something out with him. He deserves another contract, but I dare say he will be able to get a better deal elsewhere. Howson re-signing is another must though too

Yeah that’s the thing with Ayala, I reckon he’s getting offered better terms elsewhere.
 
The one major problem Ayala has is the sheer number of missed games every season - he's a class act but no one is any good unless they're on the pitch.
 
Somebody mentioned on here that he'd received a fluffy pair of ankle protecting socks at Christmas. Just a pity they didn't work at PNE when he picked up his latest injury with nobody within 10 yds of him.
