All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur - Amazon Prime (Spoilers)

I’m watching the new episodes now and it’s just getting better and better amazed at how candid this is.

it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

I thought it was excellent, none of it is rocket science but most footballers really are a bit think arn't they! Jose I think comes across very well. And I loved it when he was saying Spurs are all nice guys and nice guys win f all. I always thought that about Spurs which is probably exactly why they win nothing. I think Jose will sign a few tough characters.

He spoke about Doherty before the wolves game saying he was a tough guy or something and now they have bought him. Defo see Jose improving them.

I always wondered what was José technique that made him such a winner and watching that it’s how personable he is. As it’s him talking to the team doing the team talks the briefing he is the voice yes he has assistants but he’s very hands on.

I read sid lowes book when we got karanka and he said that because José is so full on with training that his assistants don’t really do a lot and Basically put out the bibs and cones.

I love how José writes out the team in pen on that paper sheet old school .

Is it worth the watch as some of the reviews I’ve seen from football writers is that is doesn’t really show you anything that wasn’t already in the press

I've found it good background watching. I don't think it is as revealing as Sunderland till i die (i'm about 4 episodes in) but I was curious to how Morinho is and Levy and you get a feel for their characters I think.

Not on par with some of the other ones (Last Dance/ Sunderland) but light viewing for me.

It is worth watching just for the half time dressing room stuff for me. Really interesting. Give it a go mate but yeah the main stuff does seem to have been leaked already . Love Mourinho in it

Haven’t watched that yet. I’m not a Rugby fan but watching that and especially the all blacks might make me appreciate it more. Maybe next on my list 👍

I’ll be interesting to see how footballers compare to rugby players when I get to a footy one

but these rugby players take a lot of personal responsibility when the do something wrong

That’s good to know. Yeah footballers like to blame others first! Danny Rose and Dele Alli come accross that way on the Spurs doc

Even though I enjoyed it, I'd say it's the worst of the 3 football ones I've watched..

Next to zero fan interaction, and they achieved nothing and didn't fail enough to be interesting.
The Sunderland one was miles better, far less polished and stylised

The Man City one was too, but that's largely because their season was a record breaking one.

Yes as It’s as close to seeing a real football club that we’ll ever see. These are lopped off cameras so the players aren’t playing up they are being shown how they are in real life.

it’s quite a revelation.

Next to zero fan interaction,

it’s not about fans though mate that’s the point it’s what happens behind the curtain At a premier league club.

Im surprised by how many watch and enjoy these things. Watched a couple of the Sunderland ones, a little bit of spurs, a little bit of Man city.
They just seem like really dull workplace documentaries and are ball achingly corporate.
None of this

I disagree and honestly think it is one of the best for access within the club. Dressing room, treatment room, manager's room it is all there.
But they were there for 1 year & only show 8 hours, it is always going to be superficial with claims that it has been selectively edited to make people appear better than they are.

I would've liked to see more tactics & Mourinho in the dressing room to compare to Guardiola.

The theory is Guardiola & Klopp micro manage & scenario plan to the nth degree, "if this happens & the ball is here, the opponent is here, you do this...".
Whereas Mourinho coaches good decision making but empowers the players to make those decisions.

I don't agree with that.
Mourinho angry at a lacklustre display organises an 11v11 training session. Son gets injured & is in the treatment room, angry at the stupidity of having an 11v11 training session. Mourinho comes in & says "stick it on Instagram".
Danny Rose after having a showdown with Mourinho & then saying he was going to the Chairman (which we saw), then asking Levy had Milan been in for him and Levy saying no, Bournemouth have.
It is one thing reading about it but another thing seeing it.

Plus there were no journos there, they would only have reported that because someone told them. So if Rose's conversations were leaked that was either Rose, Mourinho or someone from the production company.

I think the fa t spurs have said they are unhappy that they showed the dressing room spats shows it’s not been all about spurs PR.

I’m amazed how candid it’s been.
