All Football Below National League To End - All Results Expunged

Does this set out what is likely to happen in the other leagues, or does money talk too much, as in the clubs won't let that happen?

Sadly I can't see any other outcome, we will still be in lockdown in May / June
Maybe when football will resume, this year, or next, the following season should be cancelled & the present one completed, for all leagues mind
 
That’s shocking, just goes to show the FA don’t care about the smaller clubs, the financial impact is the same for a northern league club as it is for a premier league club it’s just relevant.
Gutted for South Shields and Stockton fc

Liverpool and Leeds/West Brom to take the FA or PL to court? Can't see Liverpool being denied the title going down well at all, and the promotion money for clubs who are gambling on going up will be a issue surely?
 
I don't agree with clubs taking the football powers to court, maybe Liverpool & Celtic, but then again you may as well give Celtic the title before the season starts
Say Liverpool are successful then Stockton should rightly be crowned champions & so on, you can't have it to just one team, what makes Leeds & WBA certain of going up, likely yes, certain, no
This is a world disaster & the last thing we should be doing is trying to take bodies to court, we may, probably likely, still be in lockdown come June
Cancel next season & finish this present one, if we can mind
 
Yep, for me the overriding factor for any decision should be financial - trying to enable clubs to function going forward.

If this decision has been made for teams at the bottom of the pyramid who are struggling financially there is no reason why it shouldn't be replicated across all divisions.

To do otherwise would be to put the "success" of bigger teams above the survival of smaller ones surely?

And sending out the wrong message, you don't matter but the bigger teams do

As posted on the old board, this will be a real bummer for some clubs and not just for the financial implications. Momentum is always important in football but, it appears to me, especially so when you get to the lower reaches where a promotion means you possibly get to hang onto a team/ manager/ players for a little while longer. Everything is so fragile at that level. See how the likes of FC Utd Manchester or Darlo fared after steaming up the leagues initially until momentum stalled. It'll be interesting to see how Salford progress now.

Totally agree as I mentioned earlier its not the time to talk about legal action, especially when a lot of smaller clubs couldnt afford to tackle the league body, especially over something as serious as the present climate with calling football off
Say Liverpool, WBA & Leeds win, will this be cascaded down the leagues & then across europe, how can they say who will be guarenteed champions, promotion, relegation, playoffs, etc, etc
 
Its a rather slippery slope the FA have now entered and opening themselves up to all sorts of inconsistency. I dont envy them the job of sorting it out but I agree we should have cancelled next season rather than rushing to end this one. Clearly commercial interests dictate all their decision making and not doing what is fair.
 
By waiting, 6 months, etc & if a vaccine has been found then all leagues can resume where they left off & finalise the final positions, all the hard work wont have been in vain, with that you could have months of no competative football, so be it, teams would organise friendlies etc to stay match fit
 
I suppose Erimus that the worst thing for Boro is that we could be relegated and then have no chance of promotion until about 2022 which is a World Cup year with the programme being interrupted mid season.
Not a very good prospect really.😞

Lottowyn that could very well be the case, I agree
If we carry on the season, whether this year, or next, with the final placing achieved teams will know what divisions they'll be playing in, Europe etc, that way the season won't have been a waste for all involved & teams will achieve their rightful rewards, if we go down & have to wait a further 6 months then that's the way it has to be
One thing I'm glad I don't have to make that decision, because there will be no right decision, certain people will always oppose it

Red, I have no time for Liverpool either, but it's not just about them, Stockton are how many points ahead & are in a similar position, to dismiss Stocktons rights as opposed to Liverpool because of money is wrong, regardless of divisions both teams have the same aims & goals & will celebrate in the same exciting manner, people may disagree with me but not cancelling but to postpone the season till the right time
