Gazette says the deal to sell Morsy will be the last by the club tonight!

Thoughts on the squad? Deadline Day in general?

I'm extremely optimistic now going into the next few months, little gutted Morsy is off but I think we'll end up with a left back on a free, probably Kean Bryan.

Also a tad disappointed we didn't get McGrath 😂 guess I was just being greedy.

Bit of a sour note If we end the transfer window by losing Morsy and Spence…

really don’t see the benefit of sending Spence to Forest and if are definitely light in midfield without Morsy.

With Morsy and Spence, the squad started to look like it had decent depth but now the bench is starting to look weak once again.

I can't see anyone else in tonight, I won't be gutted if Spence goes, more confused as to why he's being loaned to a divisional rival when Fisher and Ameobi are out injured.
Unless Ameobi is close to coming back

Well with good comnents on here from posters who know of these players then, for me, it's got to be a 👍👌

Howson, McNair, Tav, Payero, Crooks, JLS, malley, hackney.

Forwards

Tav, Ameobi, Cuban gadge, Jones, Uche, coburn, Slovenian gadge, watmore.

I'd say we've got plenty of depth without Spence and Morsy. Too much if anything. There's the non league gadge to add to that too. I'm glad we didn't sign another wide player, Jones is looking promising and it would be a shame to block his progression.
Lots of versatile players like Tav, McNair and Howson.
Now all that's left to be seen is whether the new guys are any good and how long it will take me to remember their names.

Mcnair in midfield just isn’t the same as the Mcnair in defence

Howson for 90 mins doesn’t cut it for me

Two foreigners who are yet to bed into the championship in Payero and JLS

Hackney gone

it only takes 1 or 2 injuries and we are stuffed

Same without Spence yes going forward we are stacked but as defensive cover i’d much prefer Spence over Peltier and with Wood gone on loan again it only takes 1 or 2 injuries and we are relying on Peltier and Bamba… Bola, Dijksteel, Fry and Hall all missed parts of last season for a good few weeks so loaning Spence to a divisional rival just doesnt make sense. Add Fisher to the long term injury list

Keep Morsy and Spence we have a decent squad with depth lose either and the squad starts to look light in certain positons once again…
 
Clayton isn’t up to much these days if we need to quickly sign a midfield clogger.
