We’ll not quite, but thought the title might be a bit exciting for a Thursday night.

Got me thinking though, if existence of extraterrestrial life was ever confirmed how would you feel? Bizarre thing is, that even if we ever did manage to communicate it is impossible to travel the sort of distances to or from these exoplanets.

Distance not a problem once we have a machine that travels at the speed of light.
Its more a problem of 'if you want to.'

* That we know of

Probably best we ignore it, even if it is legitimate 😂

Russia is causing enough of an issue, let's not invite the good people of Omicron Persei 8 to join in the fun.

My first thought world be that Real Madrid would try and create a breakaway inter-galactic super league.

I'd imagine it's very much like the European super league, but with interstellar away trips and tentacles.

It is interesting to ponder the fact ‘they’ will be considering us as ‘aliens’.

There, think about that and tell me it doesn’t make you feel just a little weird.

How fast do radio frequencies travel? Is that signal 3 billions years old?
That's a very good point. The signal won't be 3 billion years old as the universe is expanding but it is very unlikely that wherever the signal came from they are still around.

Voyager 2 is picking up weird signals that look like noise to us. This could also turn out to be interesting. Given whilst in the heliosphere it never sent these odd signals back.
