It would bring the fee down if they did…I won’t write him off until we’ve heard whether @Brian Marwood is prepared to chuck in Ryan Giles too!

Fair point! Edmondson often plays like he's the outcome of a Frankenstein type experiment where he's had his legs surgically removed and then put back on, but on the wrong sides.Like Edmundson
Yeah, slightly worrying, but hopefully that problem will be addressed elsewhere. If he is going to be a starter in a back 4 alongside someone else who is slow, then it’s a problem. But he may be part of a back 5 where the others are all quick, so it’s then not such an issue.Confess to not knowing an awful lot about the lad, but if he is "too slow", that's just what we don't need in our defence - we already have a glaring lack of pace defensively and in the rest of the squad.
George Friend was signed from a relegated team was he not?Yeah, slightly worrying, but hopefully that problem will be addressed elsewhere. Obviously in an ideal world, everyone we signed would be over 6 foot tall, 2 footed, fast, intelligent and good on the ball. In reality, that’s not happening. If Jones improves us, he’s probably worth a £2m punt.

You can buy Jones Nice to see you back on form for £2m or the pair for £1m.
He does a cracking Puttin' On The Ritz skit, though.Fair point! Edmondson often plays like he's the outcome of a Frankenstein type experiment where he's had his legs surgically removed and then put back on, but on the wrong sides.
Ones that are above midtable unless we want to just stay thereI wouldn’t class him as a cast off.
Reality check - we are currently a mid table champ side.
Not sure the type of signings you’re expecting?
He's a decent player. Played almost every game for 5 years. He was out at the team end of last season.Don’t know much about this lad, but… how come he couldn’t get a game for Hull at the end of last season?
Is it fine?!Decent player at this level, lovely hair as well.
Yep, if you have two slow CBs you can't play a high line, I don't mind having one CB who is slowish but can read a game and is good on the ball, one quick CB in the pairing is always the way forward IMO.Depends on your defensive line and how high up the pitch you’re pushing I suppose.
Players like Harry Maguire for example. Brilliant at Leicester where they sat deeper and absorbed pressure. Exposed whenever Man Utd try to play higher
I think Neto will possibly play there if we go with a 3Plays Right side but I would say we need a Left sided C.B.
