  1. Maybe we need Dyche or Big Sam

Sean Dyche is still in talks with Burnley over a pay-off on his £15million contract. The figures have yet to be finalised with Dyche having agreed a new deal of around £100,000-a-week in September that was due to run until 2025. Though neither side anticipate a problem in the negotiations.

Maybe we need Dyche or Big Sam

Dyche was said to be one of the perms highest paid though it’s fantasy to think he would come here let alone if we even want him. He isn’t cheap

The problem with an in experienced manager is you don’t know what your getting .

The problem with most experienced managers is you know what your getting .
CARRICK - Robson, McClaren, Southgate, Karanka, Monk, Woodgate
BRUCE - Strachan, Mowbray, Pulis, Warnock

I don’t think Carrick is up there with Karanka or McClaren, I’d rate him over Garry Monk and with the right backroom staff possibly even Woodgate. Are we looking at a Southgate type appointment here? Potentially a good manager, highly regarded..

Steve Bruce would be above and beyond of what Strachan brought to the table but nowhere near Tony Mowbray. I see Steve Bruce as being quite similar to Tony Pulis.. but combing across as being more trustworthy and genuine.

Gareth Southgate or Tony Pulis? Long term I would go with the inexperienced.. but with all hands on deck at the foot of the table.. I might go for the experienced hand of Steve Bruce with the familiar face of Steve Agnew

Wouldn't say say no, although wouldn't be thrilled with Bruce till the end of the season tbh.

Really not sure this is the time to gamble on a rookie.
