I thought Akpom was our MOTM last night. I know Steffen saved us (but also let in a soft goal) and lenihan, mcnair, smith, hackney & mcgree all had solid games. less so ramsey, and archer was non-existent.
Howson (and probably giles) also decent. Akpom though, showed for the ball, took it in difficult places and held it up, used others really well, got his goal, hit the bar, should've scored a 2nd with his one on one but generally speaking he 'showed up' last night and put in a mature performance. Well done.
