Just seen on his Instagram that he’s in Paris, or at least was last night, assuming still on holiday. That or he’ll be playing alongside Mbappe and Messi this season.

Any word on when we should be expecting him back? Same goes for Uche. I’ll be surprised if we get a notable fee for either of them.
 
Is Ikpeazu definitely not back? There was a lad wearing the new boro training top on Norton high street last week. Looked very much like him

I haven’t seen him in any of the training videos or photos.

You’d think regardless if we’ve told players to find new clubs, they would be expected back at training. It could be the last day of the window and they’d still be here.

Agree. They should be busting a gut to be as fit as possible for their potential new club. Never understood this (apart from not being very pleasant knowing you are unwanted at your current club/workplace), but have to be professional (on both sides) until a suitable move materialises. Just means you are behind everyone else when the move happens.

100%. If they're still getting paid (which I assume they are), Ikpeazu, Akpom and Spence should be back training.
 
I think when you’re trying to create a team spirit to get off to a good start and last a season you don’t want unwanted players moping around, especially if there’s potential attitude problems or pre-existing tension - why risk any chance of disharmony or ill feeling?

I doubt Uche or Akpom fall in the bad apple category but Spence might, so just let them get on with finding a club. It’s not every managers way of doing things, but if that’s Wilder’s way I have no problem with excluding individuals for the greater good if things have been explained civilly.

"I luvved my time up there...the fans are fabulous! I loved being called a wonka. Hee hee. But I didnt know ad got sack till I found a brown envelope in me wash bag. Nobody at Burra told me like. If am honest...we were bang average and I had my favourites. I told the rest they were crap.

Still, I did Chris Wilder a favour - left the club in 14th place - a point off 17th place Preston.
Without my players, he couldnt have made 7th place.
