they'll both get game time Tuesday. Barlaser and Crooks's performance will have opened up the opportunity for Akpom and Payero to play away to Coventry

That's the point, with the window still open until the end of August. It means that until the Premier League have done their business and have their squad settled the market is pretty much stagnant. UEFA need to change this and at least bring it forward to the middle of August, in line with when most leagues start.
