Tomlin was class. Shouldn't have been shifted out to the left to accommodate jelly vossen, who lets face it was rubbish.

As I recall it he set his sights on a move after he was, famously, overwhelmed by how fantastic Boutnemouth’s Stadium was and thought to himself, “imagine playing here every week”, or so it was reported.

He lasted only six league games at Bournemouth and had three clubs in three seasons which is never a good sign.

A wasted genuine talent who lacks self discipline.

Funny how you define “class”. If he was he would be playing in the Premier League. If he was he would be playing regular first team football, if he was he would be remembered as a consistently good performer. He is and was none of those and therefore whilst he did play well at times he does not fit my idea of “class”.

No not my idea of class either but when he was on his game he was very good. Interested to think what Cardiff fans think of him and they think he’s their best player. Here’s an example of their thoughts

I think you echo the views of a lot of Boro fans Nobby_B. Those 4 and a couple of others of whom we have disposed, would slot into our team nicely to put in a promotion challenge in a season in which a good club would be virtually promoted already.
