Sure you could have booked better bands than what's on offer rkangel.
Status Quo FFS. Saw them loads of times but never better than Redcar Jazz Club in 70/71 in front of a crowd of 50ish
Off the top of my head I'd do a triple headliner week, Monday to Friday. Monday, Wednesday and Friday would be gigs by Lana Del Rey, Nadine Shah and Phoebe Bridgers, Tuesday and Thursday would be the same three chatting to each other and the audience about their music, their creative processes and what makes them smile, hosted by Bridget Christie channeling the music fannishness of her husband. I think week two would be more metal oriented.

Marske Workingmans Club used to run a trip to the Globe for the Panto every year. In my time I saw Lonnie Doneghan Cliff Richard and the Shadows and the Seekers. I had a Crush for Judith Durham at the time. Ah how time flies when you're having fun
Similar from ICI club. I saw the Shadows, Frak Ifield and Joe Brown and the Bruvvers in panto

Beatles for me, found out JFK had been shot just before the gig, found out he'd died afterwards.
