When is this getting removed? Any ideas? The A66 has been closed for a week now I think...

Thanks! That's a relief - I've been avoiding the A66 on my way to work every day.

What took so long?
Clearly not the expert job they've done of patching up the road! (altho they have said a full resurfacing will be carried out 'at a later date').

Apparently they have worked around the clock to get it shifted, in a week! 🤷‍♂️ .. I'm just glad they didn't take their time!

If you can't drive into town, you can always take the tube!

40 tonnes? Really? I think 44 tonnes is the maximum gross vehicle weight on a UK road (including the vehicle's own weight). Skeptical...

Well the Gazette had stated (in one report) that it was 20 meters long - it obviously wasn't... 20 feet probably...
