A word from Madonna

"It doesn't care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell. It's the great equalizer, and what's terrible about it is what's great about it. What's terrible about it is it's made us all equal in many ways - and what's wonderful about it is it's made us all equal in many ways."

I am honestly sick to the back teeth of the (majority) of media hungry celebs and their empty words.

I couldn't care less if you all want to sing us a cringy song on Instagram. How about you dip into your vast wealth and help out some deserving local causes?

Good to see some celebs doing it without making a song and dance about it (and not for the publicity)

How do you know who is and who isn't? If they don't make a song and dance how would you know?

Some celebs are making it very public what they are doing and some are not. I guess its as much about the "how" as it is the "what"
I agree, but just saying, when you accuse someone of not giving anything, they may well be doing exactly what you're asking (and not making a song and dance about it). The ones who you 'know' are doing something, must be telling some people at the very least.

my head hurts, but I do get your point. o_O

I guess its the shameless self promoters that depress me. I mean, haven't the people of Italy suffered enough without Bono writing and singing them a corona-virus song?

Fair enough. I must confess I like U2 though, and I actually think Bono does mean well. I can see why people think it’s all about him though.

McGregor then drops big news in the message, announcing: “Today I am purchasing myself, 1-million-euro worth of personal protective equipment to be deployed to all the fighting hospitals in the Leinster region. Our most affected region, to this date.”

A sometime lunatic he may be, but he is stepping up to the plate and putting out if he has done that.
