A Song for Silvera

Nice to see Silvera having a good go at wing back. Im sure all of us would probably like to have a couple of Lamms or Zanettis or Zieges. If we can get one in, and Silvera forces his way to being our back up option through continued improvement, heart and determination, then he's done very well.

Many of us of a certain vintage will remember how vilified Gary Parkinson was until he had a "f**k it" season, where he charged forward, battered in 30 yarders and took barnstorming pennas, which probably launched the rest of his career as a legend.

To help make his "inner Parky-f**k-it" fly, we need a rousing song. Boro lyricists, make it happen. "Hi Ho Sam Silvera", the Jeff Beck one. (Does the lad that did the Mark Viduka song post on here? Or the Saltburn fella who won the Simon Cowell thing?)

Pint for the best one. The judging panel is me and my dog.
 
I think most people on the Boro message boards have irreversibly made up their minds on him and would prefer to sing something incorporating “you’re just not good enough” (depeche mode, just can’t get enough) which is harsh.
