Unless you've been trapped in a cave with nothing but Snow Patrol, Coldplay and Mumford and Son's greatest hits this is an incredibly naive view to have.
Music is about artists expressing themselves, critiquing life, the world and history, and as a result is often inevitably political, intentionally or unintentionally.

The BBC statement says Bob Vylan were antisemitic. It is infuriating that the BBC would say that when they were clearly referring to the IDF - not jews. the classic Israeli defence that any and all criticism of Israel is inherently antisemitic. It protects them and their war crimes.

This "who are the terrorists" debate completely detracts from the reality of the wanton barbaric murder and forced starvation of many thousands of innocent people.

This for me is just another example of the huge divide in this country right now. I have never known a divide like it politically with absolute no middle ground it seems and lots of point scoring.
