Cracking game, but a couple of dodgy decisions wrote the result. That first half was brilliant, what the Champions League should be all about. Second half spoilt by some iffy decisions

Didn't watch the whole game (was watching goal show) but I thought the sending off and Liverpool pen were pretty clean cut.

Athleti's penalty was a little more 50/50 but I'm surprised he changed his mind once he'd given it.

Very, very good result for Liverpool, Athleti one of the best (THE best?) teams in Europe - unfortunately Liverpool seem to have kicked back up a gear this season.

Watched the whole match and was pretty entertaining throughout. I thought the ref was very good as above I was surprised he changed his decision on the AM penalty though in real time I thought that the player dived into Jota rather than was impeded by him but for me it wasn't clear enough on the replay to change the decision?

Big takeaway from that was; what a complete and utter knobber Diego Simeone is, scuttled off down the tunnel rather than shake hands with anyone from Liverpool. After the way he behaved throughout the game (imagine Warnock on Coke) the least he could do was show a little sportsmanship at the end.

Nope that's not what a cockwomble does...
