60s and 70s kids programmes......

Definitely a Sting Ray / Thunder birds and Captain Scarlet child👍. I loved them and thought they were brilliant quality (probably shouldn't watch them now😂).

Also Terrahawks and the lesser know
Asian import Star Fleet although probably 80s?

Also loved classic SCI FI TV series like UFO / Space 1999 / Buck Rodgers and Blake 7 (worst TV sets of all time😂) . The TV people clearly had a far more open mind back in those days.

Gerry Andersons stuff IS brilliant quality.
I still have my suspension of disbelief 50 years on.
What they achieved at an industrial estate in Slough was incredible.
Barry Gray wrote stunning music for the shows... Never to be forgotten classic themes.
If your a kid in the 60s or 70s something like this this is always going to grab your attention.

My god that takes me back👍

'anything can happen in the next half hour'..... Like the Riverside😂

Thought of a few more kids series this morning.

Striker - BBC. Kid prodigy footballer whos dad tries to discourage him from football. The kicker is that his dad is a former top player who's career was ended prematurely.

King Cinder - BBC. Peter Duncan as Kerry Hutson, teenage speedway rider with the Barton Barons. There was a match where the away side were played by none other than the Teesside Tigers. Filmed at Rye House speedway.

Soldier and Me - ITV. Can't remember too much but it was about a Polish or Czech kid and a murder of an old disabled man. Fred Gee from Corra was in it.

And the creepy, weird and frankly scary King of The Castle.
