Good to see that at least some fans are being allowed into watch the Northern Ireland v Austria game tonight and it’s a step in the right direction, the lack of controlled attendance of sporting events within certain stadia in England seems so out of touch with other government policy and the success of trials doesn’t seem to have brought a solution any closer, surely a pre-booked ticket in a pre-booked seat with a designated entry point in a mainly open air environment is one of the easier situations to control, not advocating a full open return but a percentage capacity should be something easily doable and would make huge strides to supporting clubs and organisations that rely on gate income and help ease the country towards a return to normality.

France have had fans in stadiums since the middle of August.
Even with France recording record CASES they are still letting fans attend.

I guess Bonking Boris should allow games. events, concerts etc go ahead in the south and we need a demarcation line somewhere in the midlands. Checkpoint Charlie. No activity, no trespassing, no lurkers past this point...

You know I would not at all be surprised if this comes about.

Put it this way, if he announces tomorrow that only elite sport can continue and non professional must stop you will see thousands of non league football clubs, for example, around the country fold before the new year.

Yes and even you must see how insane that is....................but probably you won't.
France can do whatever it wants. Also Germany have had fans at sporting events, fans at the grand prix in Portugal next weekend. A limited amount of wrestling fans allowed to attend events indoors and outdoors in America.

Can't bear to think about it, but I think you may well be right...
