I use the same principle when talking to my pints. If talking to plants makes them grow, then hopefully talking to my pint might do likewise!

Makes sense. The big restaurant chains will buy up any establishment that has been successful in its own right, redecorate the place, change the beer on offer, launch a new menu. When times get tough they will drop them quicker than a Southfield Road hooker's pants.
Same can be said for some breweries but it's not as prevalent as it once was. The place I work is brewery owned who are being incredibly good to us as they know our place turns a profit every month.
