Why are Ireland and France banning entry from UK for 48hrs due to new covid strain. Seems a bit of an odd time I would have expected indefinitely or two weeks but what will change in 48 hrs. Presumably they will just review it agin then and extend.

Maybe they feel some vague constitutional obligation to consult their parliaments for anything beyond that. Unlike the undemocratic clown in charge of us.

Been saying this for weeks, no way the travel bans, random placing and lifting of air corridors is not related to Brexit negotiations.
