Saw The Wave Pictures at The Lexington a couple of days before Christmas. They were outstanding. I managed to trip UP the stairs in between them playing and the support finishing and spilled a whole pint on myself, the stairs, the people behind, but the bands were so good nobody - me and the man from the ticket bit who helped clean up the mess - really minded.

Supported by a singer called Lo Barnes, who I thought was great. Very cool, very ‘sun drenched’ to my ear. A bit Lost in Translation, a bit Tashaki Miyaki, a bit 60s. Would definite recommend seeing her next she plays in London.
