4 Home matches refund

Has anybody actually received a refund for the 4 Home matches on a Season Card yet? As I have already paid for next seasons Season Card, I applied for a refund for the 4 matches on 15th June and the MFC email stated “Please allow 30 days for your refund to be processed.” But I am still awaiting a refund on 2 Season Cards (Approx £146). I have rung and emailed MFC but they just say that they are short staffed and it has been sent to the Accounts department for payment on 10th July, surely it shouldn’t take all this time to refund a card payment?

No no it's fine, Rob said they'd be fine answering emails and an online system to automatically process it or anything like that would be unnecessary.

I've still yet to pay for my renewal.

I'm waiting to see when the early bird deadline is announced and see what they plan on doing about the home games we'll miss next season too.

I’m sure it’s not relevant on here With you guys but I’d imagine there’s a canny few waiting to see what league were in ! Sorry but likely accurate

I applied but also haven't received the credit into my bank yet.

I have received refunds for 19 concerts / stage shows / hotels from many different companies, but nothing from the Boro which is the only one outstanding.

I don’t seem to begetting very far with anybody. Virgin Holidays, Holiday Extras, Boro all owe me money and nobody seems to be paying out.

Were there other options? My quins setons ticket gave me three options: 1: to have the cash as a credit to spend in the ground, 2: to have refund, 3 to let the club keep the cash.

Given they have all had to take massive payouts. and the club is struggling, I think I'll just let them keep the cash. Hopefully most people will say this.

Letting MFC keep the cash wasn't one of your options. It either sits in your ticketing account as a credit to be applied against future season cards or other tickets or you apply for a refund. They only gave 2 options and now as predicted they're struggling to keep up as everyone has to email them or ring in order to get their refund/use the credit against a new season ticket rather than using an online system as they should have done.

But no no no Rob the apologist will be along shortly to explain how we're all wrong and the club is right.

Rob are you ever able to accept the club has made an error/mistake?

Requiring people to ring up or email to renew their season ticket or receive a refund rather than do it online was stupid and now they can't cope with the volume of people contacting them. This was pointed out at the time and you disagreed with it being an issue. Yet here we are - club staff overwhelmed.

I renewed straight away and I havent had any options from the club to do anything about refunds or otherwise....

You should have had an email from the club in it there were details of the MatchdayLive voucher code and what was happening with refunds/credits for the games played behind closed doors.

They haven't announced what they're doing for people who have renewed for next season yet as it's likely some games will be behind closed doors.

We should acknowledge that Boro were one of only two Championship clubs offering a refund/credit AND streaming access to all games.
Absolutely...Thank you Steve Gibson (y)
People are too busy moaning about how Steve Gibson runs the club yet this sort of thing is just glossed over...

Fair enough Primus, just saying most people focus on the negative on here.

There's been very little to shout about for many years... The club has been an absolute shambles on and off the pitch for years and it's Saint Steve who's responsible.
