Riots in the street, mental health surges, economy collapse. Are we now looking at a serious argument over the risk of the virus vs the risks of the lockdowns?
I think, given the vaccine rollout, any decision to extend a lockdown past the end of March (once the top 4 groups are done) will result in pure anarchy. We are a year down the the road now. I think every human being has a point where they lose control, even if they are generally compliant, law abiding people.
Its rumbling all over Europe at the minute. Restaurants are planning on forcibly opening of their own accord. Its going to be an interesting 2 months.
Im hopeful that we will remain peaceful and come end of March be in a tier 1 type situation whilst the rest of the country are vaccinated.
