3 Boro players in the Team of the week.

Well done Mr Jones and Crooksy! I was thinking today, if Spence comes back in January and Jones maintains his current form it'll be interesting to see what happens there. Jones' defensive game has really impressed me and it was nice to see some end product from him when he set up Watmore.

I can't imagine Spence would be happy to come back and start on the beach considering his form at Forest, yet you couldn't possibly drop Jones playing as he is, and with Wilders formation I can't see anyway to squeeze them both in the same team. Nice problem to have for Wilder though, two young in form players fighting for a place in the team.

If Spencer starts on the beach then we really are embracing the wide men approach....

Spence is a funny one. He will probably benifit from the new style and gaffer.

That said Wilder doesn't suffer fools and happy to publicly blast folk who don't do what he wants (I've no problem with it). The other issue is if he doesn't want to come back. I know he's contracted but why bring him back if he's moping around texting his Forest mates. Just like signing a player who would rather be somewhere else.

The one big positive is that it's been a very good loan. So any team that had half an eye on him will be interested again. I wouldn't be suprised if someone offers a few quid (prem or maybe forest). It depends on priority areas we need to strengthen. A couple of his Sheff UTD wingbacks are entering final 6 months in Jan (although wrongside of 30).

Dated back to last season but he's keen on moving back to London or closer to London at least. Maybe a change of manager might bring around a change of heart but I'd be surprised.
Bit of a weird one given his chosen career path! Closer to London? How close do you need to be?

Given the need to balance finances, plus Spence current good form. It would be a bit of a no brainer to cash in January if possible. Could raise significant funds without weakening current first team. And if the lad wants away its win win really.

I don't really understand your point... You're not surely suggesting he'd be the first footballer to prefer the life of London to that in the north-east and might make career decisions accordingly?
