2nd Test New Zealand v England

His first class bowling figures aren’t great.

Steve Finn has a theory. Read this the other day. Interesting.

Atkinson was usually 1st or 2nd change for his county too, and not exactly tearing it up. There has certainly been some inspired selections in the last year.
Excellent article

Interesting article.

It has a knock on for batsmen at county level too, if true, because they are not getting exposed to test bowlers and pitches like they used to in the days of Donald and Marshall playing county cricket in the height of summer.

Anyone ever won a test match by an innings and 500 runs? Would be good to set that record....... oops, mis reading the card ...

Watching from Brasil. Chucking it down here. They need to get a move on. In my Ladybird book of the Southern Hemisphere, Brasil to NZ is like Old Trafford to Headingly.

... as predicted ... the 'Ladybird Projection' surprisingly accurate ...

Love the balance to the team but unless Crawley has a knock in the 3rd he's had his chance, again.

Who are you replacing him with? No chance they drop him. They love him. They fancy he'll do well on hard flat bouncy Aussie wickets.

He's pretty much undroppable I'd say (their view not mine)
