I used to work up there and among the "insults" thrown at me/us were you're not in the North East, you're in Yorkshire. For some reason they thought we would be offended by this.As you said, thickos! They don’t consider it a derby. Sometimes the amount they write it is to convince themselves. The sad part is those thickos think we are mortally offended at their stance. I have news for them….
MLF?Reading that thread on their site, and one of their Muppets has us down for bricking their disabled coach, which if remember correctly was them bricking ours - which just goes to show how they have selective memory when they have turned out to be total bellends. Reading the thread none of them sing paedo apperently, I like Sunderland but they are full of their own bullsh*t when it comes to their own fans and how 'MLF would not stoop to something as low as that'
More to do with their size than the extent of their support, I believe.Massive Lads Fan, it what they call themselves
From a football perspective surely that is a compliment.I used to work up there and among the "insults" thrown at me/us were you're not in the North East, you're in Yorkshire. For some reason they thought we would be offended by this.As you said, thickos!
Been loads and loads of players from the North East. Shearer, Beardsley, Charlton brothers, Bryan Robson, Carrick, George Armstrong to name a few off the top of my headFrom a football perspective surely that is a compliment.
Yorkshire has some decent footballing heritage whereas, I'm in my 40's and cant remember their 'north east' having any real noticable footprint or impact on english football. Ironically, a good percentage of them are'nt even from sunderland. There's loads from the durham mining villages who don't have a local team of their own so they cling on to sunderland.
Very few of whom played for north east sides or at least played their best years for clubs in other regions of the country.Been loads and loads of players from the North East. Shearer, Beardsley, Charlton brothers, Bryan Robson, Carrick, George Armstrong to name a few off the top of my head
That much agreedVery few of whom played for north east sides or at least played their best years for clubs in other regions of the country.
