A big day for James Cook 250 years ago. Cook re-named the first land fall Botany Bay from Stingray Bay, after Joseph Banks went out and collected so many plants. Then he departed Botany Bay and sailed up the east coast. During this time they saw dolphins, fish and turtles. He sailed away to continue the rest of his world changing 1st voyage.
