Anyone booked to go away or wishing to this year?

Think we are going to give abroad a miss this year again, shame as the not so young one is (hopefully) off to uni in the autumn so were planning somewhere exciting.

Prices for U.K. breaks seem very high compared to previous years though so guess a lot of people are doing the same, or at least hedging their bets by booking somewhere just in case.

We rolled last years holiday over thinking things would be fine this year. We are due to go to Greece in June or July ( I need to check) I don’t hold out too much hope but you never know.

Everything rolled over from last year.
Bonus is they're already paid for.

Whitby 1 week April
Budapest 1 week August
Croatia 2 weeks September

🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

This weekend we are going to book Singapore for my birthday near the end of the year. Haven't decided on whether to add Bali to the trip or Hong Kong. She loves beach holidays so probably bali but I love city breaks. For political reasons it might be wise of us to go to Indonesia though!

Booking it all refundable just in case. We certainly went be free from the virus by then but I'm going restrictions will lift

Spend to time at our place in Sweden as soon as we can get across - looking forward to our first Summer there.

It's a big birthday for my wife this year so hopefully heading West - maybe New York + Cuba or Portland/Vancouver.

t20 world cup in India is also in the sights but very uncertain regards that one at the moment.

We were booked to visit my Auntie in Austria in April which had been rolled over from December. Easyjet just cancelled the flights which suggests they don't hold much hope for things being opened back up by then which is a depressing thought.

Other than that giving a foreign holiday a miss this year. Make the most of these shores this year I reckon

Booked for a week in Tours, France in June not holding out too much hope, but you need to book to cancel as last minute hols may hit the roof as holiday firms want to recoup lost revenue. And obviously we are all desperate to get away and most will pay.

Not booked anything as yet, but definitely be going somewhere - assuming we're allowed of course.

Probably looking at Cyrprus or one of the canary islands again.

I keep looking and seeing some cracking family deals, but I don't really trust the current situation to go ahead and book.

We've got a rolled over holiday in Greece in August and hoping to get to the Caribbean at the back end of the year, all being well 🤞

If you book with a reputable company or airline, they are atol protected and you use a credit card then you have nothing to worry about and will get a good deal even if you have to roll it over. I work in the industry and I think testing will become the norm rather than quarantining. I’ve got Norway in June, Canada in September, Mauritius in October and South Africa in December all booked.

I think you'll do well to get into Norway in June mind.

We had Disneyland Paris booked for March but I've changed it until September to be sure, bonus is that the little one will be 6 months older so will get more out of it, they have a Zen guarantee so we can cancel or change free or charge.

Should have been on a stag doo last April but haven't rebooked that yet given the logistics involved, quite hopeful to get away for that in June.

Fancying the North Coast 500 around the tip of Scotland in the motorhome. Would love to spend a month doing it. Let's see what Covid has to say about it...
