200K tests per day by the end of May

I can't see the benefit of just mass testing for the sake of it - who has the virus.
Testing when people have symptoms - targeted testing - seems the logical way to go & then to test those they have exposed (tracing app & personnel)

testing for antigen & possible immunity to discover who has had the virus may be more beneficial long term.

mass vaccination - once we have one - will be the path back to normality

BBC health correspondent Hugh Pym has clarified that the prime minister's ambition of 200,000 daily tests by the end of May referred to lab capacity rather than individual tests.

I thought it was 250,000 over a month ago. Or was that the stamp licking capacity?
