2 x Bernards RIP - tribute march of the 20 mellifluous voices

You put the essential hyphen between “Terry” and “Thomas” very impressive
Help yourself to a point from the tin L K

Thank you kind sir.
Just a little return to Oswald Lawrence...there's a lovely heart-warming story about him.

I can't see that, he's just an egomaniacal shoutist, so I'll offer Roger Allam instead.
I think Callow can come across as a bit shouty, but when you listen to him being interviewed or in discussion in his more quiet moments, he does have a very deep, mellifluous timbre to his voice. All about opinions I suppose.
I have to agree, Roger Allam is a great choice mind.

Sadly I've seen him reduce his company manager, a lovely ex headmistress, to tears over the fact he couldn't sustain his breath on stage. One of the least pleasant people I've worked with. Oh, and he produced an audio book for dogs!!

He does sound like a pain and I will defer to your personal experience of him...….I comment on his voice only

Always found Sean Connery strangely relaxing to listen to, although I don't think he ever really got the hang of accents.

Ladies, I'll go Sylvia Sims - Ice Cold In Alex my dream
