2 points above a bottom 3 position

Well actually 14 players in, will take time to gel. We’ve had some injuries, and a few signing came in towards the deadline all over Europe. We’ve got lads who are not used to playing this level of football. We were never going to gel straight away

if after 15 games were 2 points above the drop zone you might have a point

we’re only 4 points off the playoffs.

yes it hasn’t been a great start, but I wouldn’t call it ‘shameful’. Hyperbolic nonsense

Absolutely no chance of making the play off’s

It’ll be another mid-table finish at best, it’s clear to see even just 8 games in.

But as a club we’re going nowhere anyway, so it is what it is. It should be expected by this point.

Really? What would you call it? We’ve just been turned over by the mighty Blackpool - a club who for years have barely had a pot to pee in. With their resources against ours we should be seeing the likes of this lot off. We didn’t. Derby - yes Derby- could hardly put a team together just before the season started! Remind me, where are they in the league?

To be fair 8 games is nearly 20% of the season.

It is early days but that league position is nowhere near good enough. For me if we’re not in the top 8, we’re failing.

Spot on about the amount of new players and giving them time to gel. That’s not the manager’s fault that they came in so late. But from what we’ve seen in the last 18 months? If we’re bossing the league after the next 8 games I’ll happily eat my words.

I’m an optimist when it comes to Boro but I’m seeing absolutely zero signs of improvement 8 games in. In fact, we are going backwards to me. Looking really open every game, never controlling a match, leaving out our player of the season so far in Jones, not changing players early enough (Siliki today….wtf?! Was clear he isn’t up to speed of the champo and needed the hook after 50 minutes)
I’m struggling to use the ‘early doors and lots of new players, need time to gel’ excuse today.

I’ll remind you at the end of the season 😂😂

If we’re talking resources then we’re performing about where we should be. Mid table champo side. Wouldn’t it be boring if the team with the most resources kept winning

Only Fulham have spent more than us this summer.

Obviously the sides that dropped down are often keeping Premier League players, but Warnock has been well backed in this window and can have no excuses on that front.
